Description:

Granite surface plates provide a highly accurate and stable reference plane for work inspection. Precision granite surface plates provide standards for zeroing comparators, setting snap gages, micrometer checking, hole center and layout determination, precision arbors for staging parts and/or checking runout of blanks.

SURFACE PLATE STANDS

  • Constructed from welded square steel tubing to provide exceptional strength and durability
  • Crossbeams are located at the proper support points to ensure maximum surface plate accuracy
  • Supplied with a scratch and abrasion resistant industrial powder coated finish
  • Available stationary or castered stands

GRANITE COMPARATOR STANDS:

  • 6″ x 6″ or 18″ x 24″ standard
  • Custom sizes available

GRANITE TRI-SQUARES:

  • Perfect for quickly and accurately checking the X-Y-Z axes on CNCs and CMMs
  • X and Y axes can be checked for 90º squareness
  • Tracing along the vertical edge of the square can check the perpendicularity of the Z axis
  • Granite tri-squares may also be used in the same manner that steel squares would be used for the direct checking of squareness and straightness

MASTER GRANITE SQUARES:

  • One large face & four edges flat, square and parallel to each other
  • Available in custom sizes and thicknesses, with threaded inserts
  • Lightening holes available
GRANITE STRAIGHT EDGES:
  • Measured on center line of gauging surface- narrow edge
  • Straight edges have a single long, narrow face finished flat
  • Laboratory grade AA accuracy is .000025” per 6”
  • Inspection grade A accuracy is .000050” per 6”
  • Lifting holes are provided on sizes 48” or larger
GRANITE V BLOCKS:
  • Sold as matched pairs
  • Hold and support cylindrical pieces during inspection or manufacturing
  • Five finished faces
  • Nominal 90-degree “V”, centered with and parallel to the bottom and two sides and square to the ends
  • Available in multiple sizes
